Committed to the local Chico community
A major priority of my business is to have a positive impact on our community. I do that by sponsoring local events, donating my photography services, and volunteering for pet-related organizations.
I’m also committed to donating a portion of all product sales to a different local organization each year. For 2023, donations from product sales will be going towards Neighborhood Cat Advocates.
Chico is lucky to have several wonderful organizations, however they all need additional support. If you’re interested in volunteering or donating (money OR supplies), please consider checking out some of my favorite local organizations such as: Chico Animal Shelter, Butte Humane Society, Neighborhood Cat Advocates, and Chico Cat Coalition.

Walk Woof Wag
Walk Woof Wag is an annual dog festival, walk, and fundraiser that has been a Chico tradition every October since 2014. I’ve been a proud sponsor of the event since 2021 and it’s always a highlight of my year. I love photographing all the adorable dogs and their families as they enjoy the various activities throughout the festival, including my favorite part: the doggy costume contest!
Walk Woof Wag raised over $12,000 for the Chico Animal Shelter’s medical fund in 2022, and I’m so excited to see how much we can raise in 2023!
Chico Pets Calendar
This year I launched my own fundraiser for the Chico Animal Shelter: the Chico Pets Calendar Photo Contest! I’ve been so incredibly blown away by the reception from the community around the Photo Contest. Thanks to the incredible support from the staff at the Chico Animal Shelter, the awesome local businesses/artists that sponsored the contest, and all the generous participants, we raised over $10,000 during just the Photo Contest portion of the fundraiser!
The next portion of the fundraiser will be coming this fall once the 2024 Chico Pets Calendars go up for sale. As with the Photo Contest, all proceeds from the calendar sales will go directly towards supporting the Chico Animal Shelter’s medical fund. Stay tuned here, on my social media pages, and on the Chico Animal Shelter’s social media pages for more updates on when the calendars will be ready for sale. I can’t wait to see how much we end up raising by the end of the year!
